Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Dry County Restoration is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or display magnification. We believe access to information about emergency restoration services should not depend on a visitor’s physical or technological circumstances.

What We Aim to Meet

This site is built with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognized benchmark for accessible web content. In practical terms, that means we work toward:

  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Descriptive alt text on images so screen readers can convey visual content
  • Logical heading structure so keyboard and screen-reader users can navigate by section
  • Form fields that are labeled clearly and usable without a mouse
  • No content that flashes or strobes in ways known to trigger photosensitive responses

We use semantic HTML and test page structure against common screen readers. No automated tool catches everything, and we recognize accessibility is an ongoing practice rather than a one-time checkbox.

Known Limitations

We are a small, locally operated restoration company, not a dedicated web development firm. Some third-party content — embedded maps, external scheduling tools, or documents in PDF format — may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We flag these where we are aware of them and are working to reduce gaps over time.

If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from getting the information you need, please tell us. We take those reports seriously.

How to Report an Issue

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible to use because of an accessibility barrier, contact us directly:

Please describe the page you were visiting, the assistive technology or browser you were using (if known), and what you were trying to do. We will acknowledge your message promptly and aim to address confirmed barriers or provide the information you need through an alternative means within a reasonable timeframe.

Alternative Access

If you need information about our services, a service estimate, or documentation related to an active job and the website is not accessible to you, calling us directly is always an option. We can walk through any information over the phone and follow up in writing by email.
